Advice: Quintuple Major Junior for Big4 consulting Internship

Hi everybody,

I am a junior, quintuple majoring in Enterprise Risk management, Economics, International Politics, Communication Arts and Sciences, and Art History (Minor in African American studies). I know at this point many of you will think that I am an insecure overachiever who has an inferiority complex and is just quintuple majoring to feel a sense of self-importance. But I can not be more sincere when I say I am profoundly in love with learning. I come from a less privileged background, so college to me is not only about getting a job but is really about evolving and challenging the mind. But I digress.

I hope to get into management consulting after school so I am currently looking at the consulting/advisory internship at the Big4.

Here are the specific programs I am interested in:
*Deloitte- Business Analyst Intern ( Human Capital )
*PwC- Management/ Risk Consulting Intern or Risk Assurance Intern
*EY- Business Advisor
*KPMG- Deal Advisory Summer Intern

I am very concern that I might not even get an interview because of my low GPA (3.35) and lack of work experience. Naturally, I am doing my best at perfecting my resume (working with what I have)and networking with recruiters/alumni. But I am just wondering is there anything else I can do? Any pieces of advice would be greatly appreciated!

Sidenote:
*I am eligible to sit for the CPA exam [I am only 6 credits away from an accounting degree, but it's against policy to double major within the business school so...]
*At a nontarget [ranked #47]
*Will graduate on time

Quintuple major and graduating on time? Not allowed to double major in same college ? Are you graduating with like 250 credit hours? Are you taking like 30 credit hours a semester?

I can appreciate enjoying learning, but that should mean your gpa is higher than a 3.3. You just come off as unfocused

I say all of this because you will likely get the same push back in interviews. I finished with a 3.3 and probably 80% of the companies I interviewed with blatantly said my gpa was low (you get use to it). I was able to counter with having a high major GPA and knowing my shit.

If you are a junior, that means you are just finishing your gen eds, and probably have taken one or two major oriented classes. I would advise changing your econ major to finance (I received the same advice junior year) and MAYBE keep one other major

Thank you for everybody's insightful advice. I really appreciate the honesty and bluntness. Though like I mention before, it would not be logical to drop any of my majors. I have well over 160 credits, by taking between 35-42 credits every semester. The only way to get my GPA up is to maintain my average credit load and perform better, which I will. Does anybody have any thoughts on any firms that might be more understanding of my "configuration?"

Too much negativity here! Will your GPA tend to rule you out of most generic resume screens? Maybe so. Are there ways around it? Absolutely.

In my book, taking 2x the normal courseload and maintaining an okay GPA is pretty impressive. Even more so given the fairly wide breadth of topics you covered.

I work at an MBB. Give me a PM and I'm happy to talk about how to position yourself.
