Alvarez & Marsal vs EY-Parthenon DealTech

Hi,

I am evaluating two offers and having a tough time deciding.

Offer 1: A&M PEPI (Joining Bonus 35K, Base 150K, Guaranteed bonus $55K for 2 years, higher bonus potential as billables are tied to bonus)

Offer 2: EY-Parthenon DealTech (Joining Bonus 10K, Base 205K, ~10% base+bonus increase every year)

I think both companies are giving great TC. Need help in evaluating the type of work I'll get to to do, future exit opportunities, career progression, TC progression, WLB and company culture.

Thanks !!

First of all congrats on both offers! Before I give my 2 cents, to ensure that I am aware of the full picture, can you also provide some other details (i.e., your background, are you being given partial/full tenure, location, how well you connected with the team during interviews, and most importantly what are your future career plans?) Feel free to comment or shoot me a DM, happy to help!

these are pretty different roles, if i'm not mistaken? one is rx consulting and the other is tech implementation? In this case, I'd go with A&M - seems like the potential for a lucrative PE operating role exit is there. I've heard good stuff about company culture at A&M, not so much at EY-P (mixed bag depending on team)
