Deutsche Bank stockbroker Anjool Malde kills himself amid job fears
A City stockbroker who feared he could lose his job jumped to his death from the eighth storey of an upmarket restaurant in London.
Anjool Malde, a broker at Deutsche Bank, was just days short of his 25th birthday when he fell from the Coq d’Argent restaurant near Bank in Central London on Sunday.
Mr Malde, who co-founded the events company AlphaParties, had been asked to leave work early on Friday after “an inquiry into an IT matter”.

What drove this guy to his tipping point?
I looked into this a lot. One of the greatest things that happened to me was getting a buttload of rejection early on in life. I can handle people saying no to me.
looking into this guy's history. He's never heard no. Exams, university, job. And suddenly it all is at risk of coming crashing down and he cant handle it. So what drove him to it? Not what i see as relevant. If you ask someone, would you kill yourself if you lost your job, they'd obviously say no. Like parents that kill their kids etc. What made them see it as the only/best option at the time of the event? Not knowing what the other side was like.
Sidenote: Alphaparties was founded with a rather well known mate of his, a certain Jan Sramek. No connection between the 2 events obviously, more of a point of interest.

Attention seeking. By jumping from this building he could have landed on someone and caused them some real damage. No sympathy for this asshole what-so-ever.
I'm not sure someone is going through all the potential scenarios when about to jump from a building and kill themselves.
This sounds bad but... a broker is S&T right? I feel like that's where the axman will be coming over the next few weeks.

I remember this, I was in London at the time this happened. I had dinner with with a buddy that worked at CS London at the time, and there was a lot of speculation on why this guy jumped....
