Applying to the same position you got rejected from
As the title says, is it okay to apply to the same position you got rejected from the prior year? I got to the superday last year but ultimately was unable to secure an offer. I was planning on applying again this year, but am unsure if it would be weird due to the possibility of being interviewed by the same people in the group.
curious too
I cannot imagine why this would be an issue
if anything it shows that you really want the position. if you're on good terms with the people you spoke with last, I'd let them know you're reapplying
this
got rejected after superday in 2018, applied same position in 2019 and got the offer
BB SA
Reapplied FT or as SA by delaying graduation?
Not an issue. Got a FT offer at a top BB in a similar boat
Go for it. When I was recruiting for FT IB positions, I reached back out to my contacts I made during SA recruiting and ended up getting a few automatic superdays as a result.
Overall, what's the worst that could happen?
This is what happened to my current role, I had a last round a year before I applied again (with the same recruiter even I think), said something insane during the lunch part of the interview and didn’t get it, but then got the position when I reapplied about a year after.
If it was really that insane, you wouldn't have gotten the position ever because they would remember they dinged you for it.
