I don't think because it's 3 years they will look down upon it. However, a lot of schools where you can graduate in 2 or 3 years tend to me ranked very low or online degrees. I think that is where the stigma comes from.. So, it all depends on everything else. I went from a 3 year degree to an ivy league masters. It was hard. You have to prove yourself even more.
My school with the 3 year degree is ranked 38th in the world in QS rankings. 72nd in Times university ranking
