Asia IB to US IB/PE - Stick with a boutique bank?

Hi, I will be attending a Canadian semi target next year (Rotman).
I have connections and can get into BB IBD in Asia fairly easily.
However, I wish to work in the states/Canada in the future.
Is it possible to come back to the states/Canada after 2 years of IB experience in Asia?
If possible, I do not want to attend business school since I do not wish to spend tons of money and time

Should I just stick with a boutique bank in Canada instead?Any thoughts? suggestions?

Its not that I am giving up on receiving a BB IB offer in Canada. I'm just trying to think realistically.

Thank you in advance.

If you ultimately want to work in U.S./Canada, why not try first? You haven't even started school yet.

Secondly, why not use your connection in Asia and do a couple summers at your BB there? With IB on your resume freshman and/or soph and junior summer, you'll be good to go for recruiting at the Canadian Big 4 at least, if not in the U.S. as well.
