B school placement Deloitte S&O
What do you guys think are the B school placement chances coming out from S&O (M7, chances at H/S/W), especially if you get sponsored by the Firm to come back after the MBA? Does getting sponsored impact your chances of getting in?
Deloitte actually publishes the data on acceptance rates for those BAs gong through the GSAP. There is the data available somewhere online, but its somewhat dated. I attended a networking session last year with Deloitte S&O and they had the prior year acceptances. I recall that BAs only had a slightly higher % acceptance at Stanford and about 10-15% more than average at H/W (i.e. 10% national average => 20% acceptance rate for BAs).
Deloitte does really well after that, with really high rates (50 - 75%+ iirc) at schools like Kellogg, and outside the M7 is pretty much guaranteed (100% at Darden).
I think the data captures the fact the people are returning to the company (via GSAP). Hope this helps!
