Bank of America Online Assessment Test and Application Process
Immediately after submitting my application an assessment appeared on the career portal. Anyone know what that Bank of America online assessment test covers? Here's what I've gathered.
BOA Job Assessment
There are deadlines for this assignment and you should should check your application portal regularly. As mentioned above, the assessment will appear in the career portal after the application is submitted. It's a simple personality questionnaire with no technicals. It is comparable to the Myers Briggs test. However it is more focused on work style.
It's a three part test. Each part consists of 14 to 15 questions. All of the answers are multiple choice.

Part 2: Your attributes in the workplace
Part 3: Your relationship with others
Examples of BAML Personality Test Questions
Most personality tests are in one of two formats.
Making Choices:
Your task is to choose one statement that is most like your behavior in work situations.

- I am prepared to tell people if they are mistaken
- I have highly original ideas
- I review work carefully
Rating Statements:
You may be asked to rate yourself on a number of phrases or statements.

Consider some of the characteristics that would make someone a valuable team member. Think about these topics beforehand since these questions are multiple choice. However, remember that these are normative statements.

- No personality is better than another and while some lend themselves better in particular situations the advantage depends highly on rule #2.
I am strongly ENTJ but someone with is ISFP will be better than me at many things. We are different not better than one or another.
- These tests are best used to understand your place in a group or how well a group will work together. So in Rule #1 with particular situations being better than others...this depends highly on the other people in the group or department you work in. If your boss and co-workers are all INTJ or other types of Introverts and you are ENTJ or ESTP you might not get along with them at all.
Try to understand where your co-workers and bosses would fit in these personality groupings and understand how they fit in groups, derive energy, and think. It will be worth it to you.
- Your results are meant to be a point in time look at your personality. Things, situations, and experiences change and it can be helpful to take the test every few years in order to only better understand yourself.

Beware, the online assessment can take forever to load and you have only three attempts to re-start it. If the popup won't work, there goes one attempt so make sure you're patient with the loading screens.

Does the online assessment occur immediately upon submitting the application? Trying to figure out if I can submit the application and have a few days in between.
It gives you some time to complete it, I believe 1-2 weeks
Do you receive the assessment in an email? Or is it in the career portal?
It should show up immediately after submitting the application online, so my guess is career portal.

I dont see anything on my Portal. Tried to e-mail the recruiting team from the they email they have provided on website its keep bouncing back :| :|
are you manually removing pop up blockers, enabling cookies, enabling java etc. ?
I think the assessment was only if you applied before a certain date, which was the deadline for an open accelerated process, after that date you're in the regular timeline so you will probably get the assessment later. From what I understand, everyone gets the assessment, so just hold on tight.
Not sure if that is true, I applied yday (clearly behind their accelerated deadline) was given assessment right after I submitted my application.
Stupid Question but is this like an untimed, all on computer questionnaire? or is it like HireVue
Expected it to be like HireVue, turned out to be a questionnaire, really easy stuff literally just go take it

I'm confused about the online assessment test. What is this for? I just applied 3 positions and only received the assessment test for 1 position.
Is there a specific time of day you have to take the assessment? I tried completing it but it said there was a problem contacting the test provider and to try again later. Did anyone else get this? All of my cookies/flash/pop-up settings are enabled

I got it and I'm an international too. I don't think BAML care that much.

No need to practice. Someone earlier said it best--it's a personality test. Work style for the most part. It took ~20min to complete.
I didn't get the assessment initially but just received it this morning (August 22nd).
Does anyone know if BAML is reviewing on a rolling basis?

Be mindful guys the assessment is also due before 9/8, so don't procrastinate to submit your app very last minute!

Was told the deadline for the online assessment was due no later than 9/7, but as of 9/6 the application portal says that the deadline for the assessment has passed. Anyone else having this issue right now?

9/8 3am: 3-part MC questionnaire immediately after app. 3.9er. Not sure how they're inviting the test, friend with 4.0 didn't get it yet... Wondering if the interview will be tailored to test the consistency of responses
Anyone else has their assessment closed earlier than the said deadline? I received an email to take my assessment by Sep 8th, by 11:59 pm. Now is 8:30 pm on the 8th, and it said deadline has passed. Where can I go to ask?
Happened to me as well. Just sent an email to HR asking what to do. I would send them an email with photos of both the email you got, and the error message you get on the application portal. That way they can see that it closed early.
You sent to BoA's HR, do you mean recruiting team for your school? I just sent an email to US_campus address. Hopefully they can address this soon.
For the online assessment, I had one email from Bank of America and one application portal message both saying: "by September 9" and "no later than September 9". Shouldn't the deadline of the online assessment (not the main application, that was for September 8) have been supposed to be 11:59 PM on September 9 ET? If yes, whom should I contact with?
