So this is how they spend their unemployment checks.

I love how one security guard hit another in the face. This is what happens when venue security and the security hired by the event promoters clash. One's more concerned with keeping everyone alive and getting them out and the other is all for cutting ass. Fucking hoodrat shit I'm glad to be out of now.

Great video. I used to bounce for awhile when I was in school. It's no joke and can get serious. I don't condone sucker punching because I think it's a pussy move but you better believe people got what was coming to them when they started shit with me or the rest of the team. We go in head first breaking up a fight and just hope nothing happens to us. My experience has been when it's two white guys going at it, it's usually just that...one guy vs. the other...and we come in, the shit stops almost immediately, we drag each one out and then their buddies usually follow and they leave. When it's been either two black guys or maybe a black guy that's being removed by security, all hell breaks loose...similar to what's seen in the video, although on a smaller scale (like 20-30 people total and we never saw any guns).

I was attempting to escort a dude out one night that was bigger than fucking big (and I'm not small), but he kept getting on top of this table and throwing his drink on the crowd, etc. I explained to him he couldn't get on the table, blah blah blah and that if he didn't again he would have to leave. Sure enough a couple minutes later he is back on the table. I come over and tell him he has to leave and he refuses. Well, he's drunk and bigger than I am so I go ahead and call for some backup and as I finish calling he tells me to fuck off and shoves me so fucking hard I actually moved a good 20+ feet before slamming into some guy sitting on a bar stool. I get up and start walking back towards him and as I get within about 6 feet of this guy I get punch in the side or back of my head so I do a quick duck move and cover my face/head hoping not to get smashed with a bottle. Just then a bartender (who LOVES to fight) comes flying up to the scene and cold cocks this fucker in his face (apparently the he saw the guy punch me in the head from behind). The kids goes stiff like a 2x4 and goes straight to the ground. I get up and charge the original guy and that's when all hell broke loose and there were people getting punched left and right and chairs and glass bottles flying. I just starting laying hay-makers on all the shit bags that were jumping on the rest of the security guards that were trying to take care of the first guy. In comes our off duty police officer and he's getting in the mix as this chick is in his face shoving him. He takes her to the ground and is attempting to cuff her when the original guy breaks loose and jumps on his back. I look over and see this and flip out. The only thing I can think of is this dude getting a hold of the cop's gun and turning this shit real messy. So literally jump on this guy's back and manage to hook both of his arms so that he can't reach for the gun and pull my arms close enough together to lock my hands together. I'm not the world's strongest man but I spent some time wrestling in high school and have been in more fights than I care to mention (many times choking someone until they passed out, which can be in a matter of seconds if you do it right...that's another story) and one thing I do know, when I am pumped, you can't break my grip. This kid was a fucking monster and was so fucking strong he nearly managed to break my grip and break free. I remember dragging him out with a couple other security guards and thinking to myself that I can not let go or someone is going to fucking get laid out. Anyways we got him outside and I made sure I add a little force when releasing him. Sadly his arms were still at his sides and he was only capable of breaking his fall with his face and shoulder. Sadly, that wasn't even the craziest night I've had.

Anyways, I don't fuck with bouncers when I'm out. If you are in a situation where you are going/have to fight, your best to do it outside of the club. Most bouncers I know love to lift weights and love to fucking punch people's faces. I'm a pretty level headed guy and haven't cared for fighting since middle school (though I won't hesitate to defend myself if necessary), so I was the guy that was trying to broker a deal with you so you would leave the place willingly so I didn't have to pull you out and embarrass you etc. It seemed to work for me, but nearly every guy I worked with was the opposite. Often we would remove people for dress code violations (typically after several warnings) and most would leave willingly. Despite that fact, the other security guards often walked behind the person and would repeatedly shoved them telling them to move faster, etc in the hope to instigate a situation where they could lay hands on you...which is why I suggest leaving the club before throwing down, lol.

You sound like one of my really good friends from home. Absolute fucking rock, not the hugest kid you ever met but still a mountain, takes a shot like a champ and dishes back bigger than he takes. Absurd reach too, longer arms than me and I'm a complete monkey.

If I'm ever in the ATL I'll make sure you hit you up sometime.

Oddly enough I've never been punched in the face...ever...so I don't know if I can take a punch for real. I have been hit from behind several times...never by the same person twice though, if you catch my drift, lol.

Like I said, I'm not some Billy bad ass but I have a horrible temper that I've learned to control as I've got older, hence the fighting when I was younger. I prefer diffusing situations if I can because the outcome can be so horrible if it escalates to a physical altercation. For the most part, it's been my experience that guys that are psuedo friends who beef with one another can throw a couple punches and move on, but random dudes in a bar like to hold grudges...which is, I think, why I have moved over to the sleeper/choke hold or grab someone by the throat. You punch someone a couple times they just get angry and want to keep fighting until the police show up, etc. However if you choke them out, it becomes a done deal. No one wakes up on the ground confused as shit and wants to jump back into a fight...they are probably thankful they are still alive and they are trying to figure out what the fuck just happened and how come there are 30 people standing over me, lol (sometimes you get short term amnesia and don't recall what happened right before your world got dark). Ultimately when they reflect upon the situation they probably realize that you could have killed them if you wanted to and that it might be best not to try and retaliate.
