BB/EB/Upper MM in NY compared to mid to lower MM banks in regional cities?
I'm currently at a lower semi-target, thinking of transferring to a target school next fall. How big is the difference in exit opps, business school placement, and 15 year career trajectory from a major BB/EB/Upper MM in NY (BAML to Jefferies range) compared to mid and lower MM banks in regional cities (Ex. SunTrust in Atlanta, Brown Gibbons Lang in Cleveland, Tripletree in Minneapolis)?
It's significant. The overwhelming majority of on-cycle recruiting will target BB/EB/Upper MM (NY or otherwise).
