BB/MM Industrials Groups in NYC
I'm headed to a top MBA program this fall, and one of the career paths I'm thinking about is Industrials banking - I currently work in-house (strat/corp dev) in the space. I wanted to ask the WSO community to shed insights on the various groups if they have any. I'll be 30 when I graduate, so a priority for me is culture and hours as opposed to groups that offer great modeling experience and PE exits...I know NYC banking will be NYC banking, but I'd prefer to avoid sweatshops and really pursue any diamonds in the rough if they exist. Can I get some input on different Industrials groups (NYC, specifically the BBs) and a rough ranking if you feel you have enough knowledge. Please mention if you've heard the "great dealflow, analysts getting killed" statement from a friend, colleague, etc. so I can weigh things. I always love the high school juniors providing input on this stuff...

MS, JPM and Citi have great industrial teams. Obviously GS as well but all of these shops will absolutely kill you in hours.
