Best banks/groups for Work Life Balance
So I know that I want to do IB, but a little work life balance is also important for me. I would rather work 60-80 hours a week and get a 30k bonus than 80-100 and get a 60k bonus. Which banks/groups should I aim for? I've heard that DCM and Public Finance usually have better hours. Any other groups?
Corporate banking. Hours closer to 60 and bonus still up there.
On the IB side, ECM, DCM, or the "worst" group at a BB/EB (low deal flow = better hours)
Corporate banking / DCM at a BB. Mid-level associates pull in ~$250k and work 50-60 hours with good visibility into workload.
