Best M&A books to prepare for summers
Im a first year at a UK target looking to apply to summer internships in IBD this September. Which books will best prepare me for technical questions and also give me a good foundation in M&A. I'm looking at Investment Banking: Valuation, Leveraged Buyouts, and Mergers and Acquisitions + Valuation Models and the Art of M&A. Which other books would people recommend?
I'd make sure to do a modeling course in addition to just textbook studying. I use Wall Street Prep but my school gives free access codes (it's paid otherwise)
Imagine actually going to a school that offers things like that though

Cheers, looks good.
Rosenbaum and pearl was enough for me to get an IB job from a similar background
Do you know any books that go in depth on merger models?
Pretty sure that Rosenbaum amd pearl has some good stuff on merger models i.e DTLs, goodwill etc
Wont really be asked honestly. Pretty useless even for PE recruiting.
Try Investment Banking by Pearl and Rosenbaum
i feel like that's more applicable for when you get the job - it's more a detailed handbook on how to do the job
for me, 400 qns was enough and industry primers from sellsidehandbook.com
got me into a bb
