Ooooh yeah! I can't wait for Sunday!
you realize the first episode is embedded in my initial post?
That's my bad. I didn't look at the title of the video and just assumed that it was a trailer
Thanks for sharing!
You're a fucking godsend. Couldn't make Sunday's episode and now I get to watch it ahead of time? I would buy you a beer if you were in my area. If you're ever in South Florida I'll buy you a beer.
Where's my AxeCap fleece...

Absolutely pumped this show is back!! Also need an Axe Capital fleece.
"Remember, you don't have to outswim the shark...you only have to outswim the guy you're scuba diving with"
CAN'T WAIT FOR SEASON TWO
Side note, I fucking love Wendy.
If my firm had a Wendy, my PnL wouldn't fit on the screens.
Are you sure we can short this?
"I am not uncertain."
Love it.

If you get Showtime through Amazon Prime you can watch the first episode of season two as soon as you sign up (I watched it last night). They are running a seven day free trial so you can watch the first episode and cancel.
Don't even need to sign up. You can watch the 1st episode for free on youtube via Showtime's channel. Thank me later
I actually saw a couple of links on Youtube to watch the first episode for free.
The first episode is literally posted above on youtube
The above video isn't a link to the first episode.
I still think the fake argument/fight scene was one of the best and absolutely hilarious.
thank me later

It had never occurred to me that shows would sell a bunch of t-shirts and mugs; specifically the mug with the dollar sign handle. Incredible.
Great show. Season one was killer.
looking forward to binge watching this in four months...
Love this show, I think the guy playing the chess hustler in the park is Maurice Ashley lol. He is a grandmaster in real life, awesome that they added him in like that.
it is. He actually did a video of pretty much this exact situation link(
)
Also the guy teaching Jiu-Jitsu is John Danaher, who is a absolute legend in the BJJ world. Very entourage-ish of adding these "stars"
Nice. Watched the first episode yesterday while searching for a new movie !
Pretend like we're having an argument
Great scene
Is it just me or did anyone else think the first episode was kind of weak? I loved the first season, this episode seemed to have a lot of weird non-sequitur type of scenes that didn't lead anywhere or set anything else up. I won't say anything else because I don't want to give spoilers, but I didn't think the 2nd season started off super hot.
Is it just me or do I have an issue accepting Captain Winters from Band of Brothers (HBO) now twilighting as a HF owner.
Watch Homeland, I think that will clear up any hesitations you have.
After seeing this thread, I binged watched the entire show...
Yes! I just got into this show a month ago and binged watched the entire first season. Wags is the best character on the show. Also, still can't decide if Wendy is hot or not....
I've been having this exact debate in my head for as long as I can remember. It was settled this last episode when the cook said she "shames the angles." I thought to myself, I'd love to have a wife who looks like that when I'm as old as Chuck Rhodes.
I've honestly been debating it since she was Tara on Sons of Anarchy.
Thanks for sharing this. Great show!
I'm looking for a new series to watch. Would you recommend this?
Curious if anyone in HF or S&T actually likes this show. Honestly at times it is entertaining, but the unrealistic events and behaviors is a turn off for someone who knows that the industry is not really like this all that much with the exception of a few places. I know its a tv show, but still written by people who know what they are talking about.
yes
I'ts a TV show, created for entertainment purposes, not a documentary.

So anybody hooking us up with a link of episode 2? :)
You can find it at fmovies.se :)

"Bobby Axelrod is Mike Tyson in his prime, and you do not want Mike Tyson in his prime"
Nice cameo by Chanos.
Anyone else find the gender non-binary character contrived and a little cringey?
Lol did you see Dollar Bill's expression when Axe calls the character a "they"? Literally me every time I hear that somewhere
This show is the shit. We should get this thread going again for the last episodes of season 2.
In tonight's episode, are they insinuating that someone/ some firm staged the Chipotle E. coli outbreak to drag down the stock haha
Wow the ending to the most recent episode was incredible, I love this show
Wendy's short allocation is gonna screw Chuck on this yet again, show getting kind of repetitive. Chuck goes after Axe -> Wendy's relationship with both Axe and Chuck compromises the case -> Rinse & Repeat every season.
Well but looks like Chuck (is about to) screw Axe big time no?
Isn't Wendy having a short position in the IPO, when Chuck set up the inside info to initiate the short play from Axe Cap, going to prevent him from doing so? Or in effect screw himself instead?
Hmm I see. Axe could spin that short into something like Chuck orchestrated the short play for his benefits, routed through Wendy. If Axe goes down that path though he would have to offer Wendy to SEC / that new US Attorney so then maybe that would be the last resort plan.
Any other way you see Axe could get out of this?
WOW that episode was fucking good. Especially with the twist of Chuck getting someone else to do the dirty work to catch Axe, last season his office was doing all the leg work.
Also that scene with Bryan and Taylor was gold.
Who is Axelrod reportedly modeled after ?
I think Steve Cohen
Steve Cohen for sure, and seemingly a bit of Ray Dalio. Ray practices the same type of meditation and was a caddy at a golf course, just like Bobby in the show.
I don't know who Bryan is but why did Dollar Bill give Taylor 250k? I had trouble hearing on my tv set.
I think it was for going through with that short position on that auto manufacturing company with the faulty breaks? It's still sketchy and I think this is all building up to Axe throwing Taylor under the bus to get out of this one, which sucks since Taylor has become one of my favorite characters. They've been building her/him up, getting the $250K under the table "with more to come", him/her saying how much he/she loves working at Axe Capital, going over the story of how his/her father got laid off which then "made the company thrive'. It's all setting up for a crushing blow and with Axe and Chuck taking on more collateral damage to combat each other. I could be wrong though....
Season 2 is phenomenal - although, I could be biased.
This made my day.
facepalm -- we got Chuck and Axelrod talking to each other even on WSO..
I fuckin love this show, but last episode was the one that made me actually say it out loud to myself as the credits rolled. Insane.
One idea that I've heard and completelyyy hope comes to fruition, is if/when there will be a showdown between Taylor Mason and Oliver Dake.
This showdown is sure to come. Hard to imagine why they would revive this character otherwise. To be honest though. I fucking hate Taylor. Political correct bullshit. Plus, they way he was talking about that town. He obviously has no fkcing idea about fiscal policies yet he preaches like the new Darwin. Axe has clwed his way up and while i disagree with his philosophy i accept it. Taylor on the otherside has been bullied at school and that boohoo must make us sympathise with him.
Well, fuck.
