yeah, im going next week. Anything I should read up on before I go or do they assume I know nothing about trading?

Hey I was wondering if you could tell me more about the program. Are the participants mostly from the midwest? What schools are majorly represented?

Just had had the interview. It's personality fit and really laid back. I'm pretty sure the guy interviewing me was a trader, but I'm not 100%. He wanted to know my background and why I wanted to join the program. What I like to do in my free time, how I differ from the other peopling applying, etc.. We talked about the markets for a while and I asked him some questions on the type of positions BP traders take. Pretty much it.. was about 15-20 mins interview.

I got accepted. All my responses in the application process were all about trading. I even through in two pretty detailed options trade ideas for crude oil. In the phone interview, I expressed my interests in trading and my prior education on trading. Also, I networked with a fuel trader in Louisiana that knows the head trader at BP. I figured my only shot at getting accepted was focusing everything around trading because my GPA was only 3.3 at the time. Hope that helps for next year.
