Can’t land a interviews/ Job

Hello, outside of helping a few personal clients invest their money, I do not have an extensive background in finance. Though I’m graduating with my master’s in Finance this month(August 2022), it’s been extremely difficult for me to land interviews. I have applied to over 100 jobs and only got a call back from Morgan Stanley. I did make it to the second round of interviews. The interview went well and I was certain that I would get hired. One of the people that interviewed me was basically trying to convince to consider joining her team. I never got a call back afterwards. I sent several emails to check my status but no response. A former employee said the program managers are discombobulated but that seems like an excuse to make me feel better. If I was good enough, they would call me back. The weird thing I do have to note is, I no longer have access to log into the career website. This only happens when you have been hired. I feel like my application got stuck in the middle of nowhere.
I have been preparing for interviews for months but none is coming my way. It’s really frustrating considering just how passionate I am about this industry. I feel like I belong here and will never stop chasing this opportunity.

I could do with some advice. Please help!

On LinkedIn, I can see that a lot of alumni from my school works for this company. Is it ever a good idea to connect with them and ask for referrals.

Note: I do not know or have any relationship with these alumni

I wanna apply for the fall part time internship but can’t seem to find any information about the pay. Would you happen to know what the hourly rate for New York is?

You most likely got dinged, apply to other places whilst keeping tabs on that MS application
