Career prospects after doing Renewable Energy / Sustainable Tech PE/VC

Hi guys

Was wondering what sort of career prospects are there from doing some time in a renewable energy / sustainable tech growth capital / venture capital firm? Could one move onto a more traditional VC firm?

Funds raised are worth 100-200m a piece (not sure how many currently though) and part of a much larger organisation. Strong track record in the industry and solid top people - albeit a small out fit in itself.

All of it seems very interesting work and I've had some similar experience but i got a bit concerned when i read some threads here (trying to find them now again to give context) about the sector specifically.

My goal would ideally be Corporate Development but lots of cross over sector wise in what interests me with this Renewable Energy/sustainable tech VC firm.
