Anyone know anything about Carlyle's (and maybe any other top tier PE) leveraged finance practice? Is it not as highly regarded as the buyout team, or are the hours similar to being in a banking lev fin group?

Hi. I have an amateur but sincere question. How would you rank the prestige of the following: Carlyle, Fortress, KKR. (Or are the even the same animals?) Thanks.
Fortress is a different animal - they offer PE but are famous as HF.
In terms of Carlyle v. KKR .... why rank them? It's sort of like choosing between a Ferrari and a Lamborghini. They're both the shit. And if you were lucky enough to get inside one, you wouldn't give a crap about ranking your car against anything else on the road.
