Case Western Reserve University reputation?

I am currently a freshman biochemistry and economics double major at CWRU, any way to break into consulting or IB? Should I attempt to transfer to a semi-target/target school? Thought I wanted to be a doctor, but medicine does not interest me as much as finance does.

Maybe you should drop biochem then and focus on econ/finance .

I am still interested in math and science, but just not medicine. Would switching the biochemistry major to something like mechanical engineering or civil engineering and keeping the economics major make me more marketable to top consulting and IB firms?

Engineering will make you marketable to engineering firms. You can go for math and science if you want, but IB/Consulting firms like high GPAs.

Just be sure you can keep up the GPA if you go for a science double major.
