Couldn't Land FT. Accept Origination role?

So as the title says, I couldn't land a FT offer and I recently got a interview for an origination role where the majority is cold calling/ emailing. Has anyone else here done something similar? Does this help in landing something decent in the future?

^^ good point, I should have worded this differently. My main question is if anyone else here has done something similar and if it transitioned into anything else?

Sure, this is all I have so far. Seems to be MM looking to add a member to their PE deal flow team. Seems to be just cold calling and emailing to source new deal leads. They also offer a 50k base + bonus+ commission on completed deals that are originated.
