Curious, those in energy trading: what’s your ACT/SAT score?
Really do not mean to be cringe but feel like banking applications ask about this while phys trading roles really don’t. just curious. i’ll go first - I had a 31 on the ACT and went to a public Ivy in the South
nobody cares
fair. no one does care BUT i am simply curious!

you're an idiot
and you're a pigeon student in school who doesn't know his ass from his lips. Chill out
33 on my ACT. After high school no one ever asked for any of my test scores ever
Nice! and yup same here. No one’s ever asked for it since high school. thanks for the input Brah
New grad phys trading rotational programs are 2-3 years usually. Your GPA over 2-3 years is much more proof you can survive the marathon than 1 test score. Stop being cringe.

Nobody gives a shit unless you got like a 15 on the math section. Honestly for trading interviews, the people who put close-to-perfect or perfect SAT/ACTs tend to be pretty shitty interviewers because they are just robots who only care about scores and grades and not how to think. That's not 100% true (and why we don't filter out those resumes immediately), but the correlation is flat to negative.
