Day 1 interview
Hey, I’m going into a first round interview with an IB. I have an undergrad and currently am working on an MBA. After going to the career development office, it has come to my attention that the IB I am interviewing for recruits my campus. Also I have had my resume forwarded in by someone in HR with a lot of pull. My background has been in sports marketing, and I am highly competitive. I work well with teams; I have displayed leaderships in many of my internships and work experience. I have sales experience and also forecasting experience. Am I on the right track for the second round interview as long as i'm able to communicate this information?
To be honest, I'd lean towards no because the inventory of IB candidates is high as method man right now, including people that actually have experience in I-Banking with MBA's, which you dont have.
But then again, I don't know how strong your connect is.

communicate well about why your qualities would be good for IB
persuade them about why you are the best candidate with examples
know your technicals, get a guide
know your story and resume.
If you can do all these and not offend anyone, you should get a 2nd round
dont listen to livermore. if you got the 1st round, you are competitive enough.
mathematically speaking, you are at a disadvantage, of course you have to have hope AARDVARKAA
