You're right but I'd still be worried about management's cost-cutting plan for the IB division. It definitely doesn't seem like management is planning on prioritizing growing the IB division over the next few years and I doubt management will want to offer huge comp packages to poach top talent from other banks or to win a bidding war whenever other banks come to poach their top talent.

 

Still a solid bank, It always catches me off guard how much over emphasis is placed on the name of your bank when going through this forum. Once you actually start working the people and culture matter infinity more and you don't think about any other banks, at least that is the case for me.
