Deutsche Bank Full-time Offer

Just heard back from HR after my summer internship about the return offer extended. Wonder how professional perceives DB for now after its amazing 1Q.
Outside Industrials/LevFin still not great? German coverage good too I suppose.
No one judges a bank from quarter to quarter lmao. DB is fine; people shit on it but it's still a good bank.
You're right but I'd still be worried about management's cost-cutting plan for the IB division. It definitely doesn't seem like management is planning on prioritizing growing the IB division over the next few years and I doubt management will want to offer huge comp packages to poach top talent from other banks or to win a bidding war whenever other banks come to poach their top talent.
That stuff literally doesn't matter in a short term timeframe. Unless DB completely axes its IBD division or falls off the league tables entirely, it doesn't really matter at the junior level in terms of exits. If you're in it for the long haul, you can always lateral.
Still a solid bank, It always catches me off guard how much over emphasis is placed on the name of your bank when going through this forum. Once you actually start working the people and culture matter infinity more and you don't think about any other banks, at least that is the case for me.
If you enjoyed working with and being around your team this past summer you are already in a great spot headed into full time.
