Difficulty of Series exams after CFA?
So I just took CFA L1 a few weeks ago (crushed it, but probably failed). Just landed a job at a FIG IB in ER. I have a few questions but they are simple. How "difficult" are the 7, 63, 87, 86, combined compared to the CFA, and how much will CFA studies overlap into studying for the Series exams? Also regarding the 7, should I wait until October to take it once the format changes or just go ahead and take it ASAP? My theory is just do it right away. Thanks in advance for any input.
gata, have you checked out these or run a search:

You're welcome.
Do the 7 right away. Better to do 4 exams than 5. 7 is easy, just crank out the given ~1500 practice problems, do note cards for any questions you don't understand. That should get you an 80 minimum.
63/87 are pretty easy. Passed each with a few hours of studying.
86 is tricky. It's most of the stuff you'd see on the L1, but it's watered down quite a bit from the L1. Problem is, the only material available is STC, and their material isn't representative of the exam. It's shit, to be honest. You can check the other posts in this forum, they're fairly accurate about what to expect. The problem is you need to learn FINRA's version of financial theory, which might not always be industry standard or logical.
I wouldn’t say the 7 is easy, but it’s definitely a step down in level of difficulty from the CFA exams. Work the practice problems and minimize the gap between exams (there is overlap, particularly on the derivatives/options),, and you should be fine.
You have to be stupid to fail a series exam. Literally practice the question bank for a week straight and you’re good.
huh?
there's a little bit of overlap from 7 to L1 i guess.
