Does Anyone Have Any Knowledge of Realterm / Aeroterm?

www. realterm dot com

I was looking through job postings and saw a Capital Markets Associate job at the firm. Current AUM are $4B and it looks like they focus on Industrial assets, with an emphasis on properties on or adjacent to major airports. Does this seem like a niche firm or are they well-known/respected? If anyone has ever heard of them, has any info on the firm or knows anyone that's worked for them that I could perhaps contact I'd love to hear from you.

Would love to hear any input from @CRE" , @MonkeyWrench" , @The Duke of Wall Street" or @REPE God"

I'm new to the equity side of things and am curious as to how one should go about judging different firms.

Haven't heard of them before, but I looked up some of their deals on the website and they seem to operate in the same space as Gramercy, Prologis or DCT. If you like Industrial real estate then it looks like a great firm. A lot of people say that Industrial isn't as transferable to other asset classes as multi-tenant Commercial Office, but there's a solid runway of growth for the industrial asset class as a whole so as long as you don't mind making a career in it, it's a good space to be in.

As for how to assess different funds, look for how much capital they've raised recently, see if you can find out if their new funds are bigger than their old funds, look up their recent deals and parse LinkedIn to see where their past employees end up and where their senior employees came from.

Echo what REPE God said above. I've done deals directly with them and know some of their team, good people and will be a good experience. Definitely do some funkier use industrial type stuff as well as traditional, which would be interesting I think.
