GRE scores for top consulting firms
I was wondering whether my Verbal 167 and Quant 165 scores are good enough for MBB and also top healthcare boutique consulting firms? Should I spend time retaking it? Like would a Q 168, v 168 score make any meaningful difference?
.
Lower Q and higher V didn't close doors at any MBB for me. Focus on networking and casing.
Does McKinsey, Bain, or BCG care whether someone with an MBA from a top school applies with either a GRE score instead of GMAT? (Originally Posted: 12/07/2017)
I read that MBB often wants to see applicants gmat scores; however, does it matter to MBB if an applicant applies with a GRE score instead of a gmat score?
Hi Selwyn, any of these discussions helpful:

Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
They use GMAT as a filter especially at schools outside of the M7, and I would imagine GRE serves the same purpose.
A top 1% GMAT can help get you interviews, especially outside of MBB, I'm not sure that a top 1% GRE stands out as much on that front.
