E-Cig ads & Resurgence of old-timey cigarette ads portraying awesome lifestyles

Back in the days, before people knew that cigarettes are dangerous, cigarette ads portrayed, handsome men doing awesome activities or hot girls doing whatever hot girls did then. (I'm talking 1940s~early 60s here).

While the cigarette companies are regulated and portrayals like the ones back in the days are now banned, I noticed that lots of e-cig ads nowadays are doing the exact same: Decent looking young men doing adventurous and outdoorsy things. I'm a pretty outdoorsy person and know a decent number of such people. We don't do e-cigs. I personally hate smoking.

I'm finding this new "loophole" in e-cig ads personally disturbing but kind of interesting. What do ya'all think? Will e-cig ads be regulated as much as cigarette ads?
