Econ/Finance VS Finance/Accounting?
I am a student at Villanova university, and I am interested in becoming a trader. Which major would be more attractive for a position in S&T?
Thanks

Assuming you mean which double major: Finance + Econ. Although, for S&T you might want to consider math or computer science. Math/CS + Econ.
If you're risk averse, consider Finance + Accounting as this will set you up for F500 jobs.
Finance / Accounting
Agree with pplstuff go as quant as possible math major with finance or accounting.
If you were going for banking I'd recommend finance/accounting but for trading, accounting isn't worth the time. You aren't going to be contemplating how the journal entries were adjusted for a zero coupon bond as you're trading it. I could see Econ being a cool way to get in touch with the macro markets, but I agree that a Statistics/other math double major could be the most beneficial if paired with a finance major.
