While both obviously aren’t heavily targeted by the bulge brackets or tier 1 consultancies (e.g. MBB) compared to the likes of Wharton, Booth, Stern, Kellogg, etc., you’d be a fool not to think they aren’t still respected. Emory will certainly open many doors to front office roles in the ATL area, especially in boutiques or elite boutiques. Carnegie on the other hand will be a bit of an uphill battle just cause students there will have to compete with Wharton students for IB roles based in PA (unless the role’s based in Pittsburgh), but still very doable.
He is asking for undergrad advice based on the title.
Emory is considered a semi-target while CMU isn’t.
