EY Operational Transaction Services or Accenture Management Consulting?

Hi! I am looking for advice on whether to take a fulltime position as an EY Transaction Advisory Services - OTS Staff or go with Accenture Management Consulting?

Both positions are in NYC. However Accenture is paying a higher salary with a $20k differential.

Should I just go with Accenture? Or is the M&A type work in EY better to start of with?

Depends on what you want to do. What type of MC role is it at Accenture. EY OTS involves M&A support work but does not include the strategy piece. It's more along the lines of DD, TSA development, integration, PMO support, etc. Really depends on what type of work you want to do. Don't look at $20K difference - you will make that up if you are happy and passionate in what you are doing. Look at the work and see where do you see yourself happy for next 2-3 years.
