EY TAS OTS vs PwC DDV
While I didn't capitalize on my MBB interview, I have an MBA internship offer at PwC Advisory DDV and E&Y TAS OTS. Any thoughts about pros and cons of each re: exit ops, prestige, full-time re-recruiting, culture, etc? Looks like EY will pay slightly more.
Had an undergrad internship offer from EY OTS but ended up rolling with an MBB. I've never interacted with PwC DDV, so take my opinion for what it's worth:
I have a similar question regarding EY and PwC. It seems that both firms are investing heavily in this area.
From the people I've spoken with, it sounds OTS is more involved in the actual integration or separation of an M&A transaction, where as DDV has more FDD/ODD work in addition to integration/separation.
Any other thoughts? What about exit ops? Prestige?
I started at MBB but EY TAS is solid. I went to a MF for 8 years after my stint and had two close colleagues come from EY TAS and they are sharp guys. Exit ops are corporate Dev,PE, ect network with your clients. I recently left the city to move back home to move to a large family office where I’m from and I got the job from a client I had at MBB. The family was investors. Keep in contact with your clients.

I work at TAS (non-US, non-OTS).
OTS does integration/separation with some HRDD and ODD (we have a separate FDD team) and it is true that it is one of the fastest growing competencies in TAS and EY as a whole. They have had some pretty large wins not only against other big-4 but MBB and other tier 2 consulting firms. OTS is definitely in a very good spot.

EY TAS is a great group never worked there but had 2 former collueges come from TAS and their power points where top notch plus you will learn some valuation.
