Finance major with math or comp sci minor?

I will be starting my freshman year in a couple of months at a non-target in Canada and would like to know what would be more beneficial/give rise to more career opportunities; a math minor or a comp sci minor? I don't mind learning extra math and computer science by myself, so if just focusing on finance and self-studying these would be more helpful I am fine with that as well.
Thank you!

Honestly, do math/cs double or interdisciplinary and minor in finance. If you insist on taking the finance major route, I would double minor in both. Also, it doesn’t matter if you minor in Comp sci, it only matters if you can code. I know plenty of kids minoring in Comp sci that dump all of their programming skills once they meet the minor requirements. Also, for the math minor, most math minor programs only require calc 1-3 and a discrete math + low level linear algebra course— it won’t take much. Take what you want from this, as they are all solid, but either of this options can get you to where you want to be. Good luck!

You are at a non-target. You aren't going to a school which guarantees that you'll break in from a finance major. Don't be dumb. Major in CS and minor in finance. If you wanted to major in finance, should've tried harder in HS for Ivey/etc.
