Financial Services Consulting or Sales Strategy at Healthcare Tech Firm

Hey guys,

I am currently a junior at a semi-target (Johns Hopkins, Emory, WashU) with a mediocre GPA. I am offered an internship at a financial services consulting firm in NYC, and gathered from what I know, what they mostly do is risk, compliance, regulatory work as well as tech implementation. I originally did think the gig would be a good starting place, and I could eventually network off clients or consider MBA school depending on how I like my time there.

However, I just received a first round interview at a healthcare tech firm in NYC to do sales strategy, I have always wanted to jump into tech and I believe healthcare tech has enormous potential, and being part of their sales-strategy devising team would not only help me learn the industry, but also allow me to add real value to a revolutionizing product.

To be fair, my freshman and sophomore year summers were all spent in consulting, so the tech job might sound appealing to me just because of my "the grass is greener" mentality.

Could you guys help me weigh in on my prospects here, being someone who is still young and not exposed enough to either industries, I would greatly appreciate some advice from the professionals in this sub.

Tldr: Should I choose a financial services consulting internship or sales strategy at healthcare tech internship when considering future prospects and quality of work.
