Flow Traders Final Round Case Study

Hi,

I'm currently interviewing for a position as a junior trader at Flow Traders. From what I've read online through glassdoor, the final round is has a case study. Does anyone have any tips about what to expect or how to prepare? Thanks!

Turns out, the case study is not that difficult (intellectually). Knowing how to hedge an ETF with another ETF, and spotting some mispricings, is all there is to it. And still I didn't make it. Having two interviewers sit in front of you makes it an entirely different ball game, at least for me. Being able to think on your feet, and ignoring your surroundings (and not becoming anxious like me) is far more important. I guess that's what separates a trader from the rest. Anyway, good luck to everyone else out there.

That was nice of you to follow up about this. Too often do I see people asking for advice before interviews/case studies in the forums, and seldomly returning the favor by providing their feedback to others whom were in their position +1 SB

Can you give some more details about this case study. It's 45 minutes preparation and after that it seems to be 2 hours of evaluation with a head trader and a senior trader. I would like to know a little bit more about the actual subjects and what I should focus on for my own interview.

Hi abananaforsale,

Could you share more details about the case study, please? Thanks for your help in advance!

Best, Sigrid
