If you're actively considering the school (IB prospects aside), then I'd recommend applying early action assuming the application isn't a significant burden on your family at this time. It's not restrictive, but early action acceptance rates are typically higher and applying EA increases your chances of a scholarship. You don't have to actually go, but if you are going to apply, apply early action at every school that you can.

Definitely solid for a non-target. If you get into Finance Scholars program (which is very easy... 3.5 GPA required after 3rd semester), it will help you a ton. Great placement to BBs (2-3 for each -- 4 kids in my class going to GS IBD alone). Not good at all for EBs, only one kid got a top EB

^^ some truth do it , I didn’t have best gpa 3.0-3.5, had late start but networked hard ,( nom diversity ) , you don’t have to be top 1 percent to make it , you just have to netowkr an be commuted to the grind

It’s a non target but has decent placement. However be aware that the majority of students that place into BB IB from Fordham are diversity. Being in NYC was really fun though.

I graduated there not too long ago. Pretty good placement tbh. Not as nice as it was from 2012-2015 when the school being rebranded was hot. I know a substantial amount of kids that got into IB or moved into it within a year of graduation. Shouldn't be too hard especially in this current market tho. Time will tell how the Fordham boys fare.If you're a girl who likes IB going to Fordham might as well be going Wharton as long as you keep a 3.5+ gpa. Placement shouldn’t be hard at all.

i replied above but current senior, here at fordham. I didnt have the most superb gpa but i put myself out there and got into a BB, you have to network! the only way to get into fordham is through networking. Most of the kids who get into IB from Fordham are through diversity program, only a handful get without diversity.  The earlier you start networking the more likely you are gonna end up in a BB. So just to sum in up, yes IB is very possible from fordham, if you are willing to grind and network
