From Asset Management to Corporate Finance

My background: Had an undergrad from a good private school in Utah in Finance major, been working in multiple roles in a major investment bank ( some years in Operation and some in Investment Management). While in IM, I’m doing performance measurement and data management so technically a Middle Office role. Got promoted last year to Associate. Liking the job but want more challenges and break into Corporate Finance/ development in startup Tech companies.

Questions: should I study for CFA® or should I try to enroll in MBA? Have a family so cant relocate for Ivy MBA program so can only work and study part-time in local MBA programs

Thanks
