From Investment Banking to Hedge Fund: how?

What's your view on the steps one should take to land a L/S Hedge Fund Analyst job coming from Investment Banking M&A?

usually once you've spent two years their recruiters are already emailing trying to set something up. you could lean on a buddy at a HF if you have any there.

 

Yeah, it does PE or HF recruiting can’t say you’ll get your pick of the Fund but if your coming from a BB like Goldman, or JPMorgan or a top notch EB you might fare better.
