Which investment banking full time position the best in terms of experience, culture, exit opps?
-Societe Generale (NYC)
-Nomura Securities (NYC)
-Guggenheim Securities (NYC)
-William Blair (Chicago)
Also, any additional info on Nomura and Soc Gen's IBD practices in the U.S. would be helpful.

I would take Guggenheim and William Blair over the other two. Reputation is far superior and your experience will be more M&A-focused, with more modeling experience that will be relevant for buy-side opportunities.
Depends on group for Nomuna and Societe Generale. SG Energy & Project Finance is good. Nomura M&A is good.
Guggenheim > Nomura M&A = SG E&PF > William Blair > SG Other
Nomura Lev Fin is also pretty good from what I've been hearing - they have a huge balance sheet and so the US team works on a bunch of international transactions as they provide the funding.
Guggenheim then Nomura.
I've heard of analysts from Guggenheim placing into notable MM PE funds.

It's in the top tier MM funds bordering on BB fund sizes (DFJ, WCAS, HIG, etc)
Yes this is for an analyst position. I know Soc Gen and Nomura both tout they are growing in the Americas, but I recently read that Nomura just hired 15 senior bankers to expand its banking in the U.S. This leads me to think believe that it may have more promising exit opps in the next couple years…..correct me if that's wrong
That same article mentions how Nomura isn't even cracking the top 25 on the US league tables.
I would take Guggenheim and William Blair (depending on your location preferences) well before Nomura, and Nomura well before SG.
