Go to babypips.com and go through the school. Do the whole thing PreK to graduation, also set up a demo account and trade in that. These two things will really help if you get a interview for a internship, plus it will give you market experience if you want to trade from your own account.

while they arent prop trading companies, you could be in touch with boutique corporate fx sales companies in your area. They would have order and flow trading. Try Custom House (Wester Union), Travelex, Cambridge Mercantile, there are a whole slew of others do a google search.
