GMAT Advice - Please help

I have ~3 months to take the exams for early admissions programs such as HBS 2+2. Didn't do too well on the SATs but walked in with 0 practice. I'm willing to work as hard as I need to for the next few months.

For those of you who have taken the exam, could you give me some advice on:
- How many weeks did you need?
- How many hours per day or week?
- Materials you recommend?
- Is this an exam you can realistically study hard for and score very high, or is it more about raw intelligence/IQ?
- Anything else that would be good to know as I prep

Thanks all. I know there's some older threads on this but figured no loss in starting a new one for fresh advice.
