Goldman Legal moving to US prop fund - advice needed

hey guys, I am weighing up an offer to move from Goldman's Legal team to a US prop fund like Jane Street, SIG, De Shaw etc. I'm relatively junior in my career compared to typical years of experience prop fund lawyers have so wanted to get some advice or insight on the compensation structure, long term career trajectory, job security, exit opportunities with taking this move. reason for moving mainly due to work life balance, culture but am nervous of the con of moving early in my career from big bank to prop fund.

any advice much appreciated. happy to clarify any questions.
