Goldman Sachs Insight Days IBD (Houston, LA, SF, Chicago)

Has anyone attended these events? I heard about these leading to first-round interviews and potential Superdays. Are we allowed to apply to multiple citites and does GS pay for travel and accommodations? Thank you in advance.

Will there also be an Insight Day for New York City?

I didn't see one but there might be one.

Exactly. I didn't see it either but I am hoping they keep one for New York.

Attended 2 GS Insight Days last cycle. There is no insight day for New York. It's pretty selective, so GS paid for all of my expenses. You can apply to multiple events. My contacts told me GS Insight Days are canceled this recruiting cycle, because they usually occur in early April, and given the current situation with the Coronavirus, they will not be holding events.

Wow. Thank you for the insight to the event. I guess there is no harm applying and then being told it is cancelled.

Assuming these are all cancelled? My portal hasn't been updated, but not sure that's their number 1 priority right now lol

Dude we understand you're a freshman who didn't get into the program, doesn't mean you need to constantly figure out why you didn't get in or try to get an edge on everyone by trying to get the case befoehand which you made a thread about before. The event is meant for sophomores (ik you'll probably say soph summer 2021 based on your last comments), but just calm down with all these posts and comments.
