i applied on feb 2nd and the app closed on feb 15 i was emailed by feb 13 inviting me to first rounds on the 22nd, less than 24 hours later i got an email inviting me back for final round super day interviews on feb 29th.

My point is, that they move super quick there. so if you've been waiting for a while and the application is closed then move on to the next one.

Hey RdevNY10,

what position did you apply for?

SA in Corporate Services & Real Estate in Jersey City, do you have any experience with Goldman super days?

fthopefulI'm waiting to hear back from the Securities superday...

Thats front office so thats a whole different ball game. From what i've read they get back to you super quick two days at most to get back to you after a super day for a front office gig.

I'm shooting for the Federation side(non-revenue)

Did you hear back from Services yet?

Something along the lines of my timeline is in line with your application timeline for other banks as of now but if anything changes I will be sure to notify you

I am a blogging intern at Wall Street Oasis. Feel free to follow me to see my weekly posts.

I have no idea and completed neglected to ask. My status still remains the same. 1 says "Applied", 2 say "Review", 2 say "Inactive". The the one which says "Applied" I have done phone screening and have been called in for further in person interviews next week. For one of the "Review" jobs I did a HR screening interview which I passed but didn't get called in by the hiring manager for an interview. I received a call back from HR saying the hiring manager didn't select me for an in person interview but the status of this still says "Review" as I type. The other one under "Review" and the two "Inactive" ones I have heard from GS about.

dont worry about it... like 15 of my friends and I tried to figure out if there is any connection between status changes and anything - conclusion was that it is random...

some people got invited to interviews, some not, some after a day and no status changes, others after months and several status changes etc.. there was no logic

but I think that your resume was screened by now
