Grad school: Rice or UVA

Hi everyone, I am in desperate need of of your opinion. Background: Bachlors in math. Goal: Breaking into investment banking. and don't really care about the location as long as its a strong bank. Offers: UVA MS. commerce . Rice: Master in energy economics Which one would you recommend and why? UVA seems to place well in investment banks. Rice has placed people at Goldman, Jefferies other banks for energy investment banking. But what are your thoughts on this degree and potential job market?

Thank you all very much in advance!

Man nice job, two great schools to choose from.

My guess is UVA may have stronger placement with banks since the program has been around longer.

Rice definitely has a great name in Houston, have you talked with them about how they think grads will place with banks?

I am actually based out of Houston, worked in energy for a few years. I am going to be doing the Meecon at Rice this fall, shoot me a PM if you want to discuss anything about it.

@Billy Beane Hey, I see you're currently doing the Meecon program. If I may ask, what do you think of it? And what career/job opportunities are available to you? Thanks
