GS View on Reneging for them

Hello everyone,

Any insights/stories about this would be appreciate it. Would you recommend telling the people at GS that I am reneging for them (being honest) or just don't mention it? Thanks a lot in advance

Doesn't the "very soon" part make you sound shady? or is it just business?

Nah it’s just business. I doubt they’ll probe for a deadline but if so just say “about a week from now” . Nobody is going to run behind your file to double check that stuff, just use the moment to drive it home that you’d pick them over the other offer and it should be fine. GS notifies people they really want within 48 hrs anyway

Wouldn't do that. Just go your way--"ultimately chose to pursue another path, etc." This happens at banks all the time, no reason to let them know what your doing, none of their business.
