Hearing back from an interview - what should I do next?

Hi WSO, long time lurker, first time posting. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, needed some advice.

I had a superday at a relatively small prop shop (prefer not to give specific name) in Chicago about a month ago. This was for a full time position. It went very well, and the firm said I should expect to hear back from a week or two. After I sent a follow-up thank you email, they replied back to me along the lines of "we look forward to getting to know you more" and that I should expect to hear back in a few days. I give them 10 days, no response.

I contacted one of my interviewers via email to see what's up. He replied saying it's been very busy and he'll send me some reading material, relevant to the job, within the next 2-3 days. I waited 2 weeks this time, still no response.

I thought there were good signs for me and implied I secured the post, but now I'm starting to wonder if it was just to keep me as an option while they interview other candidates. Am I supposed to stay put and wait, assuming they're just super busy, or should I send out another email? I've never waited to this extent and I'm not quite sure how my chances stand now.
