Hedge Funds Post-Banking

After two years as an i-banking analyst, what do hedge fund recruiters look for on a resume? Considering one has only started in finance, there probably aren't many deals on the resume. Of course they look for top BB IB experience. What from your college years? What GPA? What extracurriculars? Thx

They only care about what you know.

Also, IB isn't the best way to get into the HF world. I'd argue research > banking for fundamental hedge funds, and banking > research for certain types of funds (like ones that speculate on M&A as part of their strategy).
