HF/AM resumes
There's a lot of content out there regarding IB/PE resumes, but was wondering if anybody had some good tips for HF/AM resumes - specifically, would you list specific "deal experiences" or investments? Currently mine has the following format:
-[Description] - Conducted bottoms up research.......
-Selected investment experience:
-[inv idea #1] - Retailer (short): Conducted channel checks....
-[inv idea #2] - SaaS (long): Analyzed XYZ...
etc... you get the idea
Tnasty, pure crickets, that's where I come in. Any of these useful?
No promises, but sometimes if we mention a user, they will share their wisdom: Eric.friedman hirotaka.onishi redrock
I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.

Yeah i mean depending on your career stage I think that is fine. One tip, do not use "bottoms up research". It should be "bottom up research". I personally don't care but I work with a very senior guy who went on a diatribe once about how "bottoms up" is what you do with a beer and "bottom up" is fundamental analysis.
Generally would highlight any industries you've spent time researching before, active investment recommendations you've made and interaction with management teams, sellside etc.
if you have a personal account that you use to invest with definitely put that on your resume as well.
Does this apply mainly for those looking to break into the industry or also to those who have had multiple buyside experiences? I would think that trading in a PA is a given if you have a few years of experience
