Higher return investments where?? All-in on TQQQ or Crypto Long-term?

So obviously being in IB makes buying single equities and options a pain in the ass and just not worth the hassle with the holding period and shit.

Looking for some higher growth or volatile ETFs. I know about all the 3x levered ones. Feel like if I bother to go down that route then I might as well just do TQQQ to have the most volatility anyway. It's really all about not hitting that 33.3% drop in a single day that wipes out the index right? I hear decay arguments all the time but don't think that's nearly as relevant if you just want to outperform the indexes.

No interest in waiting until I'm gray and old in an S&P fund. Sick of this shit quite frankly, but again can't just YOLO on options or the next meme stock due to restrictions so have to be a bit more creative here obviously.

Probably going to get some crypto suggestions. I'm all open ear to that but have no fucking clue how it works and what to get. I'd rather opt for some of the small coins then BTC and ETH which are already huge.

TQQQ is also not for risk averse, my understanding is leveraged funds can decline in volatile markets when the underlying index does not go down due to the mechanics of how they try to magnify the share price movements with futures and options

Example 1:

Index Price of 400; Share price of $100

- Index goes up 10% to 440; Share price goes up 30% to $130

- Index goes down 9.1% to 400; Share price goes down 27.3% to $94.5 even though index did not decline

Example 2:

Index Price of 400; Share price of $100

- Index goes down 10% to 360; Share price goes down 30% to $70

- Index goes up 11.1% to 400; Share price goes up 33.3% to $93.3 even though index did not decline

That said, leveraged funds made a fortune since the bottom in 2020 because of the low actual realized volatility of the share price being lower than expected (generally green days without pullbacks!). If you expect choppier waters from here on out (which many do), avoid leveraged funds.
